I Am A Girl Project

At BeWell Childcare Initiative (BCI), we believe that every girl has the right to grow up safe, educated, and empowered. The I Am A Girl Project is designed to support adolescent girls, helping them overcome the social, cultural, and economic barriers that often prevent them from reaching their full potential.

  • Life Skills & Mentorship – Workshops and mentorship programs that teach self-confidence, decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving.
  • Education Access & Support – Addressing school fees, materials, uniforms, tutoring, and afterschool help to lower dropout rates.
  • GBV Prevention & Support – Rights education, abuse recognition, counseling, and safe spaces for survivors.
  • Early Pregnancy Prevention & Reproductive Health – Awareness sessions, family planning education, and adolescent health guidance.
  • Safe Spaces & Community Engagement – Safe learning environments and family/community involvement to support girls’ education and safety.

Football Sports Project

Through football and team sports, children develop teamwork, discipline, confidence, and social skills. This program also provides a fun, safe environment where children learn life skills beyond the classroom.
