Child Rights Governance

We work with schools, communities, and local authorities to ensure children's rights are recognized and upheld. Through advocacy, training, and monitoring, we promote policies that protect children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Our Approach

Child Rights Governance at BCI goes beyond awarenessβ€”it's about creating systemic change. We work at multiple levels to ensure that children's rights are not just recognized on paper, but actively protected and promoted in every community we serve.

Key Focus Areas:
β€’ Policy advocacy and child protections systems strengthening
β€’ Community education and awareness programs
β€’ Capacity building for schools and community leaders
β€’ Monitoring and reporting mechanisms for child protection

How We Create Impact

Through partnerships with government bodies, schools, and community leaders, we develop and implement child protection policies. Our team conducts training on recognizing and reporting abuse, establishes child protection committees, and creates safe reporting mechanisms where children and community members can voice concerns without fear.

Why This Matters

When policies protect children and communities understand their roles in safeguarding, we create an environment where abuse and exploitation cannot thrive. Child Rights Governance ensures that protection is everyone's responsibility and that systems work effectively to keep vulnerable children safe.
