At BeWell Childcare Initiative (BCI), we are committed to reaching the most vulnerable children and youth across Nakaseke, Luweero, and Nakasongola Districts.

Every week, we travel to remote and underserved communities to provide soccer training, mentorship, peacebuilding sessions, and psychosocial support to children facing poverty, neglect, and social exclusion.

The Challenge

One of the biggest barriers to expanding our impact is transport. Reaching these communities is difficult, time-consuming, and costly without a reliable means of transport. As a result, some children are left without consistent support, mentorship, and follow-up.

The Solution

We are raising funds to acquire a motorcycle that will enable our team to:

Reach more children in remote communities
Conduct regular soccer training and mentorship sessions
Follow up on vulnerable children and families
Strengthen program monitoring and community engagement
Expand Harmony Through Soccer to new areas
