Research & Impact

Evidence-driven solutions for child well-being, education, and community resilience.

Research at BCI

At BeWell Childcare Initiative (BCI), research is a cornerstone of our work. We carry out studies and assessments on child well-being, education, health, and community resilience to ensure that our programs are evidence-based, impactful, and responsive to real needs.

By combining data, community insights, and global standards, BCI ensures that our interventions are not only practical but also strategically aligned with Uganda's national development goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our Research Helps Us:

  • Identify the most pressing challenges facing orphans and vulnerable children.
  • Assess the effectiveness of our programs and interventions, enabling continuous improvement.
  • Inform policy and advocacy efforts to strengthen child protection, education, and health systems in Uganda.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned with local communities, government agencies, and international partners.

Why This Matters

Research allows BCI to measure impact, demonstrate accountability, and influence positive change. By understanding what works, we can scale successful initiatives, replicate effective models, and ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
